I spent a considerable amount of time deciding which champagne to feature in this piece. In the end, I chose perhaps the most iconic of them all. While a more unusual bottle could have made for an interesting subject, I was drawn to the idea of taking something instantly recognisable and exploring it through the level of detail that defines my work.

This piece also became an important milestone in my career, as it was the first of my artworks to gain significant attention through Fine Art Prints. In addition to the standard edition, a small and exclusive series of hand-coloured prints was produced, giving each one its own individual character.
